Mary Anne Merfeld has owned her decorative painting company in Alpharetta for over 15 years.  Over the years, she has painted and glazed hundreds of kitchen cabinets, transformed many pieces of furniture and embellished countless wall surfaces.  Last year one of her colleagues mentioned Annie Sloan Chalk Paint to her.  She was hesitant to believe all the claims about this paint after using almost every paint on the market.  But her curiosity took over and she decided to try it and fell in love with it almost immediately.  In fact, she loved it so much that she went through the process to become a distributor.  She is very proud to be able to sell and teach the Annie Sloan Chalk Paints.  The colors are gorgeous, there is no priming or sanding needed on most surfaces.  According to Mary Anne, “there is nothing like it for painting furniture.  It really is the best paint in the world!”

Mary Anne will be at Lakewood 400 with a load of paint, supplies, techniques and ideas beginning in January.
